The Issues

Our State Government has become too big and spends too much of our money. We are millions in debt and have billions in unfunded liabilities hanging over our head. Meanwhile, we have one-party control of the legislature, and they are offering us the same approach to government which got us here in the first place! In addition, there are so many other issues facing our local communities, such as education and land development. Isn’t it time for a different approach?

That’s why I am committed to make State Government work for us again.

• With your support, we will reduce spending and limit taxes.
• Let’s review State government programs and get rid of the ones that don’t work.
• We should keep the programs that focus on the important functions of state government, like public safety and health, education and transportation.
• There are so many wasteful duplications in government services which we can eliminate.

With your support,

• We will get 4300 of our friends and neighbors in the 2nd District back to work.
• We must eliminate earmarks and fund programs competitively based on developing our economy and creating jobs.
• We must support our businesses and create a tax environment to help them remain competitive.
